Activate Twint payment method in the webshop (for Switzerland)

What
In order for the customer to be able to pay with Twint in the webshop in Switzerland, the payment method must first be activated.

Admin: Store > Stores > Edit > Payment type > Twint.

Activate Twint payment type

The Twint payment type must first be activated so that it can be selected as a payment method by the customer in the webshop.

1. Go to Admin: Store > Stores > Edit > Payment type.
Attention: There may be three Twint payment types available, but only one of them is functional for the webshop. It is therefore important to activate the correct payment type.

2. For the correct payment type, first select the payment method "SIDES Pay" in the drop-down menu under "Third-party providers".
All available payment methods with SIDES Pay will then be visible.

The correct payment method can be recognized by the check mark ✓ next to the word "Webshop/App".




3. Set the payment method "Twint (online payment SIDES Pay)" to "Yes".
4. If you want the automatic refunds to be carried out in the case of cancellations or order changes (e.g. if an item could not be delivered or in the case of complaints), the slider under "Automatic refunds" can be set to "Yes" (optional). 
5. No further entries need to be made for Twint in Switzerland in the other fields ("Name of payment method", "Fibu account of payment method", "Reference for payment method", "Payment method fee", "Fee description").
7. Finally, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Save".
