What
At the self-service terminal (SOT), complementary products (cross-selling) can be specified, which are displayed as a recommendation in a pop-up window.

Where

Offer additional products (cross-selling)

Additional products can be specified that appear in a pop-up window as soon as the selected items are placed in the shopping cart.

Setup of additional products

  1. Log in to the Admin.
  2. Click on Admin: Incentives > Banners/Recommendations.
  3. Click on "Add banner".

The settings for the "Banners/Recommendations" open:
  1. Display: Click on "Recommend items after adding to shopping cart".

  2. Description: Add a description.

  3. Stores: Select the stores where you want to display recommendations.

  4. Title: Add a title (this will appear as a heading in the pop-up window).

  5. Recommend item: Select the items you want to recommend.

  6. Display for items: If you want to recommend items for specific products, select them (alternatively, you can also recommend items for entire commodity groups).

  7. Display for commodity groups: If you want to recommend items for entire commodity groups, select them.
(In our example, the pop-up window appears both when a burger from the commodity group "
Burger" is added to the shopping cart, as well as when the Angus salad, Caesar salad or the salad mix is added to the shopping cart.)

  8. Validities: Add a validity period (date and time).

  9. Save your settings with "Save" and the items will be recommended automatically.
