Item price groups

Item price groups

What
Item price groups are used to define different prices for an item. This can be used, for example, to define staff discounts, prices for counter sales, delivery, pickup, etc.

Where
Admin: Item > Pricing categories > Add price group.

Add price group

To create a new price group, go to Admin: Item > Pricing categories > Add price group.

Enter a name at "Price group name".
If the option "Manually selectable in cash register" is activated, the price group can be selected in the POS/cash register before the order is taken. This can be useful, for example, if other prices are used for a platform that is not connected to us, and you want to take the order in the cash register.

Add price

You can add the prices for the different price levels either within the item master data (Admin: Item > Item > Edit > Prices > Add price).

Or via the "Items" category, under the "Item prices" category subitem (Admin: Items > Item prices).

Further information on article prices can be found here: https://support.simplydelivery.de/portal/en/kb/articles/item-prices.

Select price group in the cash register

In the cash register, you can optionally select the price group for a delivery/pickup before ordering, in the drop-down menu under "Price bracket".
