Loyalty-Settings


What
The basic settings for the loyalty program.

Where
Admin: Incentives > Loyalty-Settings.

The loyalty system allows customers to receive loyalty points, which they can use to reduce the amount they have to pay for future orders. This will bind the customers in the long term, and it creates an ordering incentive for the customers.

This requires the user permission "loyalty.editSettings". Our support can enable this feature.

Here you can activate the loyalty system and make basic settings, this should be done BEFORE creating the loyalty point rules (Admin > Incentives > Loyalty-Rules).
First activation is necessary before the loyalty points can be received.

Attention
  1. The basic activation cannot be deactivated later (at least as long as one of the customers still has points).
  2. Alternatively, all stores for the loyalty system can be removed. Additionally, all created loyalty point rules for the corresponding stores must be deactivated.
  3. New points can then no longer be received, but can still be redeemed by the customers. In combination with the settings "Validity period of a loyalty point in days" and "Validity period of the voucher code in days", all loyalty points and loyalty point voucher codes will then soon expire.

Note
The following settings cannot be edited later and must be well-considered before:
  1. Monetary value of a loyalty point
  2. How the loyalty points are used
  3. Payment method category for loyalty points
