Pre-order limits (temporary)

Pre-order limits (temporary)

New Options and Adjustments for Advance Orders.

The options for Advance order have temporarily moved to Webshop and App settings (blue button on the store overview).
Go to Store -> subitem Stores -> blue button Webshop and App Settings.

Under General Settings, one (1) interval length (in minutes) can be chosen for the store. The selection applies to all limits and order types.

Recommendation:
Changing the interval length during operation is currently still strongly not recommended!

Limits can now be applied separately to Takeaway and Delivery, or both together.
The “number of orders” applies collectively to all chosen order types in the limit selection.

Examples:
  1. Takeaway+Delivery and No. Of Orders 3:
    --> 1Takeway + 2 Deliveries; 2 Takeaway + 1 Delivery; 3 Takeaway; 3 Deliveries

  2. Takeaway and No. Of orders 3:
     --> max 3 Takeaway; any number of Deliveries

It is now possible to assign an additional maximum order value. This limiter only works in addition to a number of orders. Entering a value other than zero will limit the sum of all orders for the period. Reaching the number of orders (+1 is still possible due to system limitations) or the order value (summed up) has been exceeded, will subsequently disable the interval slot.

Examples:
  1. Takeaway+Delivery and No. Of Orders 3 and a maximum order value of 100:
     --> 1 Takeaway + 2 Deliveries; 2 Takeaway + 1 Delivery; 3 Takeaway; 3 Deliveries
     --> once the order sum of 100 is exceeded by a single or any combination of orders, the interval slot is closed

  2. Delivery and No. Of orders 3 and a maximum order value of 100:
     --> max 3 Deliveries; any number of Takeaways;
     after the order sum of 100 is exceeded by a single or any combination of orders, the interval slot is closed for deliveries only!
     (Order A > 100 -> slot closed); (Order A + Order B > 100 -> slot closed)
     Takeaway is still possible, without any limits.

Additional annotations:
  1. Do NOT overlap limit times for order types.
    Example of an overlap:

    Example, that would be correct:

  2. Best practices are limits ending 1 minute before the next limit starts, as the system treats 12:59m as 12:59m:59s.
    Example of an optimal setting:
