Release Notes Version 1.2.293 – July 22, 2025

New features

  1. POS system

    1. UberEats vouchers: The distribution of vouchers to products with different VAT rates for UberEats orders has been revised. It is now clear which items the UberEats voucher is applied to.

    2. Uber orders: Uber orders now include a pickup time to better align driver arrivals with preparation times.

Improvements

  1. Administration area

    1. Employee profile printout: The printout of employee data has been optimized. When printing the employee profile, the stored mobile phone number is now also included.

  2. POS system

    1. Toppings on receipts: The display of toppings on receipts has been improved and adapted to the standard data format. This ensures consistent print output.

    2. Setting the tip levels: The new setting "Tip levels" (for SIDES Pay payment terminals) was added in the Admin and the different settings for tips can now be found at the store settings section "Tip"; previously they did not have their own section.

  3. Self-order terminal (SOT)

    1. Cash payment code for the self-order terminal (SOT): When customers select "cash payment" at the self-order terminal, a 9-digit numeric code is now automatically generated. This code appears as a barcode on the receipt. Cashiers can simply scan the barcode to seamlessly continue the payment process at the POS.

Bug fixes

  1. Administration area

    1. Voucher combinations: An issue has been fixed where the voucher combination list could not be accessed in rare cases. The functionality is now available again.

    2. Sender address for order confirmation: An issue has been fixed where in certain cases the desired sender address was not used. From now on, the sender address specified in the e-mail settings will always be used correctly.

    3. Passwords: An issue has been fixed where a password for blocked POS functions was incorrectly stored for all locations in a single case. An individual password can now be stored for each location again.

    4. Date filter in the order forwarding log: An issue has been fixed where the date filter for order forwarding logs incorrectly displayed logs for the following day instead of the selected date.

    5. Date filter for payouts: An issue has been fixed where the date filter in the payout list was not filtering correctly. The filter has been adjusted accordingly.

    6. Tax calculation for decimal values: Fixed an issue where, in certain countries with tax rates that include decimal values (e.g., 2.6% VAT), the tax was not calculated correctly in rare cases. The calculation has been corrected accordingly.

  2. POS system

    1. TSE times: An issue has been fixed where the start and end date of the TSE (Technical Security Equipment) were identical in a rare case. The correct entry time and the actual receipt end date are now used.

    2. Parked orders: An issue has been fixed where toppings on parked orders were incorrectly highlighted with a different background. The display has been adjusted accordingly.

    3. Credit redemption: An issue has been fixed where in a rare case a credit could not be redeemed or canceled.

    4. Loyalty point redemption: An issue has been fixed where the redemption of loyalty points at the POS did not reduce the credit value in some cases.

    5. Payment information on receipts: Fixed an issue where a certain text variable was missing on receipts in rare cases when payments were made with SIDES Pay and loyalty points.

    6. Notification function: An issue has been fixed where the notification function in the POS system did not work correctly in some cases.

    7. Deposit amount for Wolt orders: An issue has been fixed where the deposit amount was incorrectly displayed as a separate invoice item when ordering via Wolt. The deposit amount is now correctly assigned to the product, as with other order channels.

    8. Time zone for orders: An issue has been fixed that caused orders to be saved with an incorrect time due to an incorrect time zone assignment. Orders are now recorded with the correct time.

    9. Order overview for DaaS orders: An issue has been fixed where the "call driver" icon for DaaS orders (Delivery-as-a-Service) was displayed too dark in the order overview in the new POS design. The display has been standardized.

  1. Driver terminal and driver app

    1. Cash balance in the driver terminal: An issue has been fixed where in rare cases the driver's complete cash balance was not displayed in the driver terminal. This is now displayed correctly.

    2. Device binding in the driver app: An issue has been fixed that occasionally caused bindings in the driver app not to be removed correctly.

  1. Webshop/App

    1. VIP voucher in the webshop: An issue has been fixed where, in a rare case, a VIP voucher was valid in the POS system but could not be redeemed in the webshop. The redemption behavior has been standardized and corrected.

    2. Tax regulation for vouchers: An issue has been fixed where, in a rare case, the tax was not calculated correctly on an item when redeeming vouchers in the webshop and in the app.

  2. Self-order terminal (SOT)

    1. Image display for additionally offered products (cross-selling) in the self-order terminal (SOT): An issue has been fixed where the images of the suggested additional products were displayed blurred or distorted on the self-order terminal. The display has been revised so that the product images are now displayed clearly and correctly on all screen sizes.

  1. Kitchen manager

    1. Display on the pick-up screen: Fixed an issue where picked up orders did not automatically disappear from the pickup screen in rare cases. Picked up orders are now removed from the overview as intended.

    2. Order synchronization: An issue has been fixed where orders with certain configurations were not displayed simultaneously on all devices in the kitchen manager. The view now reloads automatically and regularly in the background so that orders are displayed reliably and synchronously.

    3. Orders via self-order terminal (SOT): An issue has been fixed where certain items were not displayed in the kitchen manager after ordering via the self-order terminal.

    4. Parked orders: Fixed an issue where parked orders were displayed differently on the kitchen monitor.

    5. New orders in the kitchen manager: An issue has been fixed where new orders did not appear automatically on one or more screens and only became visible after a manual reload.

    6. Kitchen manager workflow: An issue has been fixed where kitchen manager workflows had to be saved again in some cases after adding a new store in order for them to work again.
