SIDES Pay Terminal OnReader Tipping

Enable tip functionality with SIDES Pay

For the SIDES Pay terminal, the functionality will be available when "Allow tips" is activated in "Global store settings".
To do this, go to Admin -> under Store -> Global store settings -> Other settings -> Webshop settings or Webshop/App -> Allow Tips -> and select yes.


Procedure in SIDES Pay Terminal

If the tip function of the system is activated:
  1. SIDES Pay Terminal will display suggested tip amounts, next to the "No tip" and "Customize" options:
    1. for payments smaller than 10 EUR: 1 €, 2 €, 3 €;
    2. for payments lager than 10 EUR: 10 %, 15 %, 20 %;

  2. Alternatively, the tip amount can be entered in the cash register at "Partial payment" or "Change" and is transmitted to the terminal together with the order total. The tip suggestion is skipped in this case.
It is not possible to individualize the suggested values!
