To add a vehicle, click on the "Vehicles" subitem in the "Vehicles" category.
Click on the "Add vehicle" button at the top left.

Active: Here you can select whether a vehicle should be treated as currently active in use or not.

Name: An internal system name for the vehicle is entered here. It is recommended that you choose a unique name to make assignments easier and to have an overview. This is a mandatory field.

Description: An optional system-internal description for the vehicle can be entered here.

Assign store: The vehicle can optionally be assigned to a specific store. Only one store can be selected.

Select vehicle type: Here you can select the vehicle type to which the vehicle is assigned, e.g. e-bike, scooter, car. The corresponding vehicle type must be created previously under Admin: Vehicles > Vehicle types > Add vehicle type.

Select fuel type: Here you can optionally specify which fuel type (previously created) a vehicle uses or should use, e.g. Super 95 E10, diesel, electricity. This is for information purposes only, but should definitely be specified to avoid engine damage or to save costs. The corresponding fuel types must be created previously under Admin: Vehicles > Fuel types > Add fuel type.

Extra equipment: Any special equipment that a vehicle has (e.g. FM radio, drinks warmer, navigation device, etc.) can be entered here (optional, but very useful).

Plate number: The plate number (number on the license plate/vehicle registration plate on the front and rear of a vehicle) is entered here. This is a mandatory field.

ID number: The identification number of the vehicle is entered here. This is a mandatory field.

Brand: The brand of the vehicle can optionally be entered here, e.g. Audi, VW, Ford.

Color: The color of the vehicle can optionally be entered here, e.g. red, white, black.

Recommendation from km: Here you can specify the number of kilometers from which the use of a vehicle is recommended. This recommendation is displayed in the driver terminal, for example, if a vehicle has been selected that is unsuitable for the delivery route. If no value or 0 is entered in the field, the recommendation from the vehicle type listed to the right and previously selected above is used.

Required driver's license category

The required driving license category(ies) that a driver should/must have in order to be allowed to drive the vehicle or vehicle type is specified here. (Completed test + valid driver's license!)

Class A: All motorcycles and three-wheeled motor vehicles.
(Driving license must be reapplied for every 15 years - but the test must not be repeated!)

A1: Motorcycles with an engine capacity of no more than 125 cc and an engine power of no more than 11 kW, where the power/empty weight ratio does not exceed 0.1 kW/kg, as well as three-wheeled motor vehicles up to 15 kW.

A2: Motorcycles with an engine power of up to 35 kW, where the power/unladen weight ratio does not exceed 0.2 kW/kg, which are not derived from a motorcycle with an engine power of more than 70 kW.

AM: Light two-wheeled motor vehicles with a maximum design speed of not more than 45 km/h, a rated continuous power/useful power of not more than 4 kW and an internal combustion engine with a cylinder capacity of not more than 50 cm³ or another form of propulsion.
Three-wheeled mopeds with no more than two seats, a maximum design speed of no more than 45 km/h, a continuous rated power/useful power of no more than 4 kW, a maximum unladen mass of 270 kg and a positive-ignition engine with a cylinder capacity of no more than 50 cc or a compression-ignition engine with a cylinder capacity of no more than 500 cc or another form of propulsion.
Light four-wheeled road quads with a rated continuous power/useful power of not more than 4 kW and light four-wheeled motor vehicles with a rated continuous power/useful power of not more than 6 kW, each with not more than two seats, a maximum design speed of not more than 45 km/h, a maximum unladen mass of 425 kg and a positive-ignition engine with a cylinder capacity of not more than 50 cc or a compression-ignition engine with a cylinder capacity of not more than 500 cc or another form of propulsion.

Mopeds ("e-scooters"): No driving license is required to drive a moped [single-track bicycles with an auxiliary motor with a maximum design speed of 25 km/h]. However, a so-called test certificate must be carried. If you already have a driving license, you do not need a test certificate. The minimum age is 15 years.

Class B: The class B driving license enables owners to drive the following vehicles:
- maximum permissible total mass of 3,500 kg
- constructed and designed to carry a maximum of 8 persons (excluding the driver)
- trailers with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 750 kg.
(Driving license must be reapplied for every 15 years - but the test must not be repeated).

Class C1: Driving license classes C1 and C1E belong to the truck driving license classes and entitle drivers to drive a truck or a truck-trailer combination.

(Classes C1 and C1E, if issued before 2013, are generally valid until the age of 50, after which an extension is required, for which a health examination and an eye test are required. C1 and C1E driving licenses issued more recently and all driving licenses after the first renewal are generally only valid for five years. Only drivers who have their old class 3 driving license (issued before December 31, 1998) reissued can use classes C1 and C1E for an unlimited period of time).

(The driving licenses for heavy goods vehicles in categories C and CE are also only valid for five years and must then be renewed on presentation of a medical certificate and an eye test. If you have an old category 2 driving license, you can keep your driving license until the age of 50 without a medical examination and only then do you have to renew it every five years. If the CE category was issued on the basis of an old category 3 driving license, the key number 79 ("CE 79") is also entered. Even then, a medical certificate and an eye test are due every five years after the age of 50).
