Configure SIDES Pay Terminal in Windows

Before the connection can begin in the Admin, changes must be made in the Windows network settings. 

1. Open the "Command Prompt" in Windows.




2. Enter "ipconfig" as search command.




3. As a result you get the "default gateway" - keep the window open in the background and continue with the next step.




4. Open the "Control Panel" in Windows.




5. Click on Network and Internet -> View network status and tasks.





6. Go to the next menu item "Change adapter settings".





7. Right-click on the active network adapter -> go to "Properties" in the context menu.



8. Open the "Properties" of "Internet Protocol, Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)".




9. Activate the checkbox for "Use the following DNS server addresses" in the lower segment and
-> Under Preferred DNS server: enter default gateway from the command prompt.
-> Under Alternative DNS server: enter 1.1.1.1.




10. Confirm everything with "OK" and close.
