SOTA (EN)

SOTA (EN)

Before installation, SOTA must be enabled within the cross-store settings. This can only be done by an admin or it has already been enabled by SIDES.

The call number display supports CAPI, TAPI and FritzBox.
Depending on which connection is present, the corresponding setting must be activated in SOTA. The system automatically hides interfaces that are not available (CAPI or TAPI).

- CAPI (ISDN):
For this, an ISDN card must be in the PC and a driver for the respective telephone system must be installed. The driver is different for each system.

- FritzBox:
For this, it is necessary that the telephone connection (Internet is not sufficient), is configured/connected to the FritzBox.
To activate the call monitor in the FritzBox, enter the following code on your phone connected to the FritzBox: #96*5*
You will hear an acknowledgement tone on the phone.

Without phone, the activation has to be done via the FritzBox user interface:
- Open a browser on a PC that is connected to the FritzBox via WLAN or LAN.
- Go to the FritzBox user interface and log in with your user data.
- You can reach the FritzBox as usual via http://fritz.box or via the IP address http://192.168.178.1
- Go to "Telephony" > "Telephone Book" in the left menu and add a new entry. Enter the number #96*5* and assign it the name "Activate call monitor on".
- Now click again on the left menu on "Telephony" > "Calls" > "Dialer". Activate the option "Use Dialer" in the tab "Dialer". Then click on "Apply".
- Now click on the created number in the phone book. Now Telnet is activated.
- If you want to deactivate Telnet, do the same. But use the number #96*4* instead of the phone number given above.

- TAPI Settings:
Here the TAPI driver previously installed in the system must be selected. The configuration of the TAPI is done in Windows under Control Panel/Phone and Modem.

Settings:

Web server must be activated here. If Clipboard is enabled, the phone number is also copied to the clipboard on an incoming call. The server port and transmit locally only are settings that do not matter for the web application.

Sometimes incoming calls have a prefix e.g. +49. Via the list the incoming call number can be changed. The changed phone number is then transmitted to the application.
Example:
#103378123456789 becomes 03378123456789
00493378123456789 becomes 03378123456789
